As a C-suite executive headhunter, Anna’s career has been built around understanding people — their character, values, ambitions, motivations and what makes the right fit. It requires discretion, intuition, judgement and, above all, taking the time to truly understand the individual.
But her understanding of the world of dating became personal. After the end of her 28-year marriage, she found herself navigating the modern dating landscape for the first time. Like many people, she experienced dating apps and the sheer volume of profiles they present, yet questioned how anyone could truly understand an individual’s values, personality, lifestyle and aspirations through a profile and a few photographs.
Through her work as a C-suite executive search consultant, she also recognised a clear gap in the marketplace. Many accomplished executives and business leaders do not have the time, inclination or privacy to navigate dating themselves. They do not necessarily need more choice. They need someone who takes the time to understand them, understands what they are looking for, and does the searching for them.
That became the foundation for Elysium.
